The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time follows 15-year-old boy Christopher Boone, who struggles with social differences, as he attempts to uncover the mystery of who killed his neighbor’s dog. While searching for clues against the wishes of his father, he stumbles upon another and even greater mystery surrounding the sudden disappearance of his mother, meeting eccentric characters and taking on enormous challenges along the way. Christopher’s story teaches everyone to celebrate and embrace their differences instead of being ashamed of them.
Since beginning rehearsals in September, Ridge Drama Club has worked with the amazing fight choreographer Stephen Davis, in addition to bringing in police officers, behavioral specialists, and more professionals to help them approach this show with integrity and creativity. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a story for anyone who has ever felt like an outcast, and holds a touching message for everyone in the community.
