The Ridge girls varsity volleyball team bounced back from a first-game defeat to knock off Voorhees High School 2-1 at home on Tuesday.
The Red Devils struggled against Voorhees in the first game, losing 25-20 before rebounding to win the final two games by scores of 25-13 and 25-11.
"They outplayed us in the first match, but they [Ridge] made up for it in the next two games," Ridge coach Joanne Milot said.

Milot said the victory is an important one for the team. "This was for the conference championship. We lost in three [games] to them earlier this season, and now we took them in three."
She said she believed that Ridge (13-3), ranked No. 8 in Group IV by The Star-Ledger, will be ahead in overall points for the two matches.
