Ridge High School Ski Team Wins Big in 2019-2020 Season Opener

The Ridge High School Ski Team kicked off their 2019-2020 season on January 10th at Mountain Creek, NJ, their home mountain. The 38-racer team consists of Varsity, JV, X-Men and X-Women. Head Coach, John Fico will be leading the team for his 21st year. Coach Fico is supported by five assistant coaches: Alex Ballas, Kate Bondy, Ben Carroll, Valerie Cetrulo and Jamie Scott.

In GS, Ridge girls Varsity and JV win first place and Ridge boys Varsity and JV win second place. Four Ridge X-men placed in the top five individual spots.

Such an exciting first race of the season; coaches and skiers were so proud of the team’s performance and sportsmanship. Many parents and alumni came out in strong support of the team to cheer on the racers.
