In addition to the financial award, the recipient gains the opportunity for a multi-week summer internship. This internship involves working directly with an active local political campaign.
The selected student must fulfill all internship responsibilities in person. The committee requires that the student provide their own mode of transportation for the duration of the internship.
Applications are being accepted by the BTDC scholarship committee starting March 16. All submitted information will be held in confidence and used solely for scholarship administration.
The committee noted that they encourage students who are currently in their junior or senior year at Ridge and who actively work to foster democratic values to apply for this great opportunity.
