Ridge Marching Madness Competition To Showcase 14 NJ, NY Bands
The Ridge High School Marching Band will host its 14th annual home competition on Saturday.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Ridge High School Marching Band will host its 14th annual home competition, "Ridge Marching Madness," on Saturday, Oct. 19.
This grand event will include the Ridge Marching Band rolling out the red carpet for 13 bands from high schools across New Jersey and New York.
The event will kick off at 2:50 p.m. with the William Annin Middle School Band performing the National Anthem. The competition will officially begin at 3 p.m.

This US Bands sanctioned “Gold Showcase” competition will be judged.
"We are very excited to once again to host the Ridge Marching Madness competition. The students have been working very hard all season and they can’t wait for the opportunity to host some of the best bands from all over New Jersey and New York. We hope there will be a great crowd on hand to witness the amazing performances," said Clay Beyert, Director of the Ridge High School Marching Band.

The host Ridge Marching Band will present the evening’s final performance at 6:45 p.m., featuring their 2024 show “Time Slips Away.” The awards ceremony will follow at 7:15 p.m., concluding what promises to be an unforgettable evening of musical excellence and community celebration.
The band roster in competition this year, in order of appearance, is:
- Waldwick High School (Waldwick)
- Oceanside High School (Oceanside)
- Hackettstown High School (Hackettstown)
- Delaware Valley Regional High School (Frenchtown)
- Northern Highlands Regional High School (Allendale)
- Morris Knolls High School (Rockaway)
- Tottenville High School (Staten Island, NY)
- Fort Lee High School (Fort Lee)
- Pequannock Township High School (Pompton Plains)
- Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan (Old Tappan)
- Morristown High School (Morristown)
- Somerville High School (Somerville)
- New Providence High School (New Providence)
"Marching Madness promises to dazzle and delight, filling the air with enchanting
melodies and captivating rhythms. Bring your families and join us for an unforgettable
day of music and talent. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing students,
dedicated volunteers, front-line workers, and generous business sponsors for making
this event possible. Their support is the heartbeat of our band, and we cannot wait to
share this special day with everyone," said Jessica Flores, Co-President of the Ridge
High School Band Association.
Tickets will be $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Children under 5 are
free. Tickets can be purchased at admissions located at Ridge High School
performance field entrance. There will be no charge for parking. The concession stand
will be located between the entrance gate and the performance field.
