Ridge Wrestler Tanner Connelly Earns 100th Career Victory

The achievement places him among the elite in Ridge program history and adds another highlight to an already exceptional senior season.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge Wrestling standout Tanner Connelly reached a major milestone on Wednesday night, securing the 100th win of his high school career in a matchup against Hunterdon Central.

When asked about his favorite memory, Connelly doesn’t hesitate: winning a state championship as a sophomore. That victory helped deliver Ridge’s first state title in 38 years, a moment that cemented his place in the program’s legacy and showcased the potential that has since fully blossomed.

After graduation, Connelly will continue both his academic and athletic journey at Franklin & Marshall College, where he plans to wrestle at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in finance.
