BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A roof leak has caused the Senior Wellness Center at Basking Ridge to temporarily close on Wednesday, according to the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services.

During this temporary closure, the building at 202 Mount Airy Road in Basking Ridge will be inaccessible to the public.

All scheduled programs for Wednesday have been canceled.

Meal services for seniors will continue without interruption. The Home Delivered Meal Program and the Congregate Meal Program will be relocated to the Warrenbrook Senior Center for the duration of the closure. The Warrenbrook Senior Center is located at 500 Warrenville Road in Warren.

The facility will reopen after all necessary improvements are completed. However, a specific timeline for these improvements was not disclosed.

The Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services expressed appreciation for the community’s understanding.
