Saint James School To Present OZ!

Saint James School in Basking Ridge will present OZ! on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Saint James School in Basking Ridge will present OZ! on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m.

Dorothy, a simple farm girl from Kansas, has her world turned upside down when a cyclone throws her house into Munchkin Country, a small part of the strange new land she has entered.

Arriving in Oz, Dorothy learns that her house has landed on and destroyed the Wicked Witch of the East. With help from Glinda the Good, Witch of the North, Dorothy sets out to follow the road and find the
great, powerful, and mysterious wizard Oz, who, according to the Munchkin residents of the land, can grant any wish and fix any problem.

Meeting a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman, and a Cowardly Lion on her journey, Dorothy finds the great Wizard as she had hoped. However, he will not grant their desires until the Wicked Witch of the West, the dangerous enemy of the Wizard, Glinda, and all of the citizens of Oz, is destroyed.

Ready to face whatever comes their way, Dorothy and friends embark on a journey to defeat the Wicked Witch and find her way back home again.

This story is written by Tim Kelly, and the original score is composed by Bill Francoeur. Tickets for adults are $10 and children under 10 years old are $5. Seniors older the age of 60 are free. The Family Maximum is $35.

The performance will take place at the Saint James School auditorium, located at 200 S Finley Ave., in Basking Ridge.
