Santa To Deliver Gifts On Firetruck In Liberty Corner

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Santa Claus will be making his way through the streets of Basking Ridge and delivering gifts to children on a firetruck with the help of the Liberty Corner Fire Company.

This is part of a fundraising effort by the all-volunteer organization. These funds are used to purchase new fire fighting equipment and maintain existing equipment and facilities. Only families in the Liberty Corner fire/rescue territory are eligible for this event.

For a $60 donation per every four children in a family, Santa Claus (or a firefighter in lieu of Santa Claus) will arrive at your home via a firetruck to deliver a holiday gift (which you provide, to your child(ren).

The fire truck will arrive at your home with its lights and sirens activated. After the truck comes to a complete stop outside your home, each child is encouraged to come to the fire truck to receive his/her gift from Santa (or a firefighter).

Gifts and donations can be dropped off at the firehouse on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon or Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. The firehouse is located at 95 Church St. in Liberty Corner. Cash, check, or credit cards will be accepted.

Gifts will then be delivered by Santa on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The day before the drop off, a link will be emailed to families with a link to the fire company's Live Santa Tracker to track their vehicles.
