Self-Defense Class For Women Offered By Bernards Township Police

The free class will be held on June 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ridge High School.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Police is offering a Self-Defense Class for High School and college-age women (age 16 and over) and their moms.

The class will be held on June 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ridge High School.

Attendees will learn essential self-defense techniques and empower themselves with the skills to protect themselves in any situation. This class is specifically designed for women.

What to expect:

  • Situational awareness training
  • Basic self-defense principles
  • Effective strikes and escapes
  • Tips for personal safety
  • Q&A session with experienced instructors from the Bernards Township Police Department

Limited spots are available. This class is free, but registration is required and a waiver must be signed by an adult.
