Adults who aren't under the care of a dermatologist are invited to register for the skin cancer screening event.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Health Department is offering skin cancer screenings to residents, according to a Facebook post by the township.

The screenings at the Fellowship Village Wellness Center, at 8000 Fellowship Rd., Basking Ridge, are for adults who haven't attended a Bernards Township Skin Cancer Screening in the past three years and aren't under the care of a dermatologist already.

Those who go will get a full body check for early detection of skin cancer, including melanoma. The confidential exams are done by a board-certified dermatologist.
