Skin Cancer Screenings To Be Held In Basking Ridge In July

The screenings include a full body check for early detection of skin cancer, including melanoma.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township is offering skin cancer screenings next month at the Fellowship Village Wellness Center in Basking Ridge.

The screenings are scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, from noon to 3 p.m., and Thursday, July 16, from 1 to 4 p.m., at 8000 Fellowship Road.

The screening is a full-body check for early detection of skin cancer, including melanoma.

The exams will be conducted confidentially by a board-certified dermatologist.

The program is limited to adults aged 18 and older.

Eligibility also requires that participants have never attended a Bernards Township skin cancer screening in the past and are not under the care of a dermatologist.

Appointments are required. Registration is available by calling Tara at 908-204-3069 or Jackie at 908-204-3068 to schedule.

The event is listed as free, but there is a suggested donation of $20.
