South Maple Avenue To Be Milled, Paved Next Week

Somerset County also plans to repave CR-613 South Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge as well.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Somerset County will begin the milling and paving of County Route 657, South Maple Avenue next week.

Work will begin on Tuesday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the roadway from Pond Hill Road to West Oak Street. The work is anticipated to take four consecutive nights, but is weather dependent.

Detours will be in place during these work hours. Drivers should follow all posted detours and signage.

The county will also be repaving county route 613, South Finley Avenue from Cross Road to NJ Transit Train Bridge beginning on Monday, Sept. 24.
