Spree of Car Break-Ins Reported in Bernards Township

Bernards Township, NJ -- A spree of motor vehicle burglaries have been reported in Bernards Township.

Three car burglaries were reported on Jan. 2 and Jan. 3 to unlocked cars parked on on Governor Drive and Pitney Court, Lt. Mark Leopold said.

Stolen were sunglasses, a small amount of money and an iPod from the cars collectively.

Police are asking anyone with information about the burglaries or outside video cameras in the area to call Detective Sgt. Scott Ward at 908-204-3045 or email sward@bernardspd.org.
