Submerged Jeep Pulled From North Branch Raritan River

The Far Hills-Bedminister Fire Department pulled the Jeep from the river on Tuesday night.

FAR HILLS, NJ - Volunteer firefighters pulled a submerged Jeep from the North Branch Raritan River on Tuesday night.

On Aug. 1 at around 7 p.m., firefighters were called out after the Jeep was parked while a family member was helping another family member with their vehicle and it ended up in the river, according to the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department.

Firefighters with several water rescue technicians from their department came out to help.

No one was in the car when firefighters arrived. There were no reported injuries.

Firefighters stayed on scene to help the tow company and Somerset County Haz Mat.
