Survey Looks At Somerset County Substance Use Disorder Services

Survey asks locals about the quality substance-use disorder services​ in Somerset County. Deadline for responses is Monday, Aug. 6.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — What do you think about quality substance-use disorder services in Somerset County? The Somerset County Human Services Department’s Office of Operations & Planning wants to know.

They are asking locals for feedback regarding the access to quality substance-use disorder services, in order to obtain a better understanding of the community needs in Somerset County.

Two questionnaires, both offered in English and in Spanish are being offered.

The first is for parent feedback on the availability of substance-use disorder services for their children under the age of 20. The second is for adult feedback on the access of substance-use disorder services by those 18 and older. The deadline for responses is Monday, Aug. 6.

“We understand it can be challenging to access services due to a variety of barriers,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Brian D. Levine, human services liaison. “However all Somerset County residents deserve the opportunity to receive substance-use disorder services. By completing this confidential questionnaire, your voice will be heard.”
