Tennis & Pickleball Courts, Turf Field Upgrades Coming To Bernards Township Parks
Pleasant Valley, Mountain Park and Dunham Park are slated for construction and resurfacing work.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township is moving ahead with several park improvement projects at Pleasant Valley Park, Mountain Park and Dunham Park.
Committeeman Brett Hodges, who sits on the Recreation, Parks and Pathways Committee, outlined the work during the Tuesday Township Committee meeting.
A cricket pitch at Pleasant Valley Park is under construction, said Hodges.

He also said paving and painting are planned for tennis courts and pickleball courts at Pleasant Valley Park.
At Mountain Park, Hodges said at least two turf fields are going to be replaced.

He also said Dunham Park is scheduled for an upcoming roller rink resurfacing.
"I know that some of these projects may happen on days that people wish to go and play tennis. And we hope for your patience because this is really just showing the township that we are investing in our resources so that our residents can have and enjoy as much of their lives as possible through our amazing park system that we have here in Bernards Township," said Hodges.
