Thursday Morning Club's Wise Wonderful Women Lecture Series

The Thursday Morning Club invites the public to its first Wise Wonderful Women Series of the season featuring Janet E. Kelly on Thursday evening, October 20, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 at the Madison Community House, 25 Cook Avenue.
Ms. Kelly is a Vice-President for Pershing, a BNY Mellon Company where she leads its Practice Management team. With over 20 years in the financial services industry, Janet has successfully engaged and inspired hundreds of individuals and teams, including financial advisors, private bankers, institutional salespeople and senior executives. These professionals look to her for guidance and advice across critical areas of managing a successful practice, client acquisition and retention strategies. Janet is known for her sales and presentation skills coaching and she is passionate about making a difference by sharing these best practices, allowing professionals to leverage her expertise for greater confidence.
Janet’s lecture will focus on the topic of “Women Are NOT a Niche Market.” Serving women was once considered a boutique business. Today women yield unprecedented economic and financial clout-making up nearly two-thirds of the U.S. professional work force and frequently out-earning their spouses. Yet many
sales professionals overlook their influence, still speaking to them primarily through their partners or husbands, if at all. Recognizing their economic prowess and influence, women can ensure better communications and more effective service from the marketplace. “Women Are NOT a Niche Market” offers insights into the power and influence of women and strategies that women can put to work in their own lives.
