Tom Malinowski To Host Town Hall With John Kerry In Basking Ridge

The town hall will be held at Ridge High School in the Performing Arts Center, 268 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Former Secretary of State and United States Senator John Kerry will join Tom Malinowski for a town hall conversation Friday with voters in Basking Ridge.

The town hall will be held at Ridge High School in the Performing Arts Center, 268 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. Attendees will be able to ask questions during the event.

Malinowski is the Democratic newcomer running for election as congressman for District 7, which includes Somerset and Union counties. He is running against Republican incumbent Leonard Lance.

Malinowski served under Kerry as his Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor during the second term of the Obama administration.

"They worked closely together fighting global corruption, protecting minorities from ISIS in Iraq, and fighting for the rights of women and LGBTQ persons around the world," the release states.
