BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Businesses come and go yet Basking Ridge residents still miss some local landmarks in town even after a decade.
Patch asked Basking Ridge readers, "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?"

The Store, which had stood as a local landmark in Basking Ridge for 30 years, was among the most common answer among readers. The Store officially changed ownership in August of 2010 and was renamed in May 2011 to The Ridge Tavern.
