JCP&L resumed repair operations Wednesday night and are currently working. The number of power outages has significantly increased despite the restorations JCP&L made before the storm. Estimates at this time are upwards of 2,000 customers without power in the township. DPW crews are unable to plow certain areas because of the downed power lines. Please be patient, police reported.
Residents are reminded to never go near any downed power lines. Treat all utility lines as if they were energized. And to also check on neighbors that are elderly or non-mobile.
