Updates For Bernards Township Road Construction Projects

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Road construction projects are continuing in Basking Ridge. Here is a list of upcoming projects to affect traffic in the area for Thursday and Friday, according to Bernards Township.

• Meeker Road will be closed for paving on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Paving will begin at the Bernardsville town line near the cul-de-sac and proceed toward Whitenack Road. All on street parking is prohibited. The road will be closed and access restricted. A tar-like coating will be applied before paving; this can damage your car. Make alternate parking arrangements and avoid driving on the street. All restoration will be completed after paving.
• Gerard Avenue and Debra Lane will be closed to thru traffic for pavement milling operations on or about Friday from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Driveway access may be affected at times. Additional notices will follow.
• Infrastructure repairs, including curb, sidewalk, and driveway repairs will continue on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Parkwood Lane. Access will be affected at driveways with white paint marks on the sidewalk and/or street. Make alternate parking arrangements. Drivers should exercise caution while traveling through the area. Additional notices will follow.
• Infrastructure repairs, including storm sewer repairs, will continue on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Atlas Road. Access may be limited at times. Drivers should exercise caution while traveling through the area. Additional notices will follow.
