Valentine's Day Key Chain Carved From Basking Ridge Oak Tree
Forged in Wood has launched its website where products carved from the Basking Ridge 619-year-old tree are now up for sale.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Say "I love you" this Valentine's Day with a unique and memorable gift. Heart-shaped key chains carved from the famous 619-year-old Basking Ridge Oak Tree that was cut down about two years ago are now for sale.
The Basking Ridge Oak Collection, presented by Forged in Wood, is available exclusively at The Rebecca Collection and now online.
Forged in Wood Co-Owner Dave Schneck said the company launched its website forgedinwood.net for anyone around the country to be able to purchase the products.

Along with the heart-shaped key chains, Schneck said they are also now selling an American flag and wine stoppers made from the historic wood. The tree had been considered possibly the oldest oak tree in the country.
