Verizon to Hold Free Recycling Rally on September 21

Urges Area Residents, Employees to Go Green

All Are Welcome to Drop Off Unwanted Electronics, Other Materials at Verizon’s Basking Ridge Facility From 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Verizon is holding their annual Recycling Rally on September 21 at the company’s Basking Ridge facility to collect unwanted electronics and other items from home or the office. The Recycling Rally is free and open to the public. Since the program was launched in 2009, 99-plus events have been held across the country resulting in over 2.38 million pounds of eWaste collected, surpassing the program’s 2015 goal of reaching 2 million pounds. The new goal is to collect 4 million pounds of eWaste by 2020.
