Water Main Break Impacts Some Basking Ridge Residents

New Jersey American Water crews will be making emergency repairs to a water main break beginning at 10 a.m. in Basking Ridge.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A water main break in Basking Ridge will impact some area residents while New Jersey American Water crews make emergency repairs Tuesday.

Crews will begin repairs at 10 a.m. at the break on Conklin Street and are expected to take about two hours to complete.

Residents in the nearby area may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water. When water service is restored, customers may experience discolored water.

If your water is discolored, run the cold water taps only, at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes until the water runs clear.
