The Bernards Inn, Ninety Acres Culinary Center and The Pluckemin Inn also recognized.
Wine Spectator has released its 2011 awards for restaurants that serve wine in a list that includes 3West Restaurant off Martinsville Road in Basking Ridge and other restaurants in the Somerset Hills.
The list of New Jersey restaurants, which also lists the level of award received by the establishment and notes its particular wine strengths, is online.
The other restaurants recognized by Wine Spectator for their wine selection include The Bernards Inn in Bernardsville, Ninety Acres Culinary Center in Peapack-Gladstone, and The Pluckemin Inn, Bedminster.
Wine Spectator's highest award, the Grand Award, went to The Pluckemin Inn. The strength of the restaurant's wine list rested on its selection of Burgandy, Bordeaux, California and Piedmont wines, according to Wine Spectator. The Pluckemin already has posted its receipt of the award on its website.
