Winter Market, Christmas Tree Lighting In Basking Ridge Set For Dec. 3

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The 9th Annual Winter Market and Christmas Tree Lighting will return on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Downtown Basking Ridge.

Winter Market

From noon to 7 p.m., the Winter Market will feature more than 30 local vendors and artisans offering crafts and wares. Children will be able to participate in holiday crafts. And Christmas trees and wreaths will be available for sale, as well as food, desserts, and handmade crafts. The Winter Market is located at Bishop Janes United Methodist Church at 22 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

At 5 p.m., the ceremony begins with performances including the Trilogy Repertory reading “The Night Before Christmas”, and the Jamestown Duo leading a holiday sing-along. The event will conclude with a countdown to the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

Locals can join in Downtown Basking Ridge at the front steps of Coldwell Banker at 1 S. Finley Ave for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event will also be streamed virtually at BRholiday.org.

Santa

From 5:45 to 6:45 p.m., children are invited to visit Santa on the front porch of Ridge Family
Dentistry.

From 5 to 7 p.m., the Parks & Recreation Department will be on South Finley Ave providing sweet
treats, a holiday craft/giveaway and fun family photo opportunities.
