A Women's History Month Special Event offered Wednesday, March 16 at the Bernards Township Library

Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton: A Friendship that Changed the World will be presented by award winning author Penny Colman.

Bernards Township Library will offer Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton: A Friendship that Changed the World on Wednesday, March 16 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Award-winning author Penny Colman will present a thought-provoking program about the legendary friendship between Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton and their historic fight for women's rights, despite fierce opposition, daunting conditions, and the betrayal by friends and allies.

This program is the second in a series of Women's History Month Special Events offered by the Bernards Township Library to celebrate women who's commitment, struggles, and service, changed the world and left a lasting imprint on our society. The final program in the series, Bridge Builder in Petticoats: Emily Warren Roebling and the Brooklyn Bridge, will be presented on March 24 at 7:00pm.
