2 Brush Fires Extinguished In Nutley; Juveniles Detained: Police

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley firefighters put out two separate brush fires on High Street and Donna Court last week, authorities said.

According to the Nutley Police Department, police and fire crews responded to High Street along the tracks on March 29 after a brush fire was reported in the area.

While extinguishing that fire, another brush fire was reported on Donna Court. That fire was also put out, with a nearby fence taking minor damage, authorities said.

Multiple juveniles were seen in the area prior to the fires. They were detained and turned over to their parents, authorities said.
