2 Burglaries Reported In Nutley Last Week: Police

NUTLEY, NJ — Two burglaries were reported in Nutley last week, police announced Tuesday.

The Nutley Police Department released the following details about each incident:

Jan. 30 (River Road) – “Officers responded on report of a past-occurred burglary. The business owner stated when they arrived, they observed a shattered window and broken glass in the area. Business personnel stated they were unaware at the time if anything of value was taken, and they were advised to contact headquarters if they observe anything missing. The surrounding area was canvassed for further information, and the detective bureau was advised and arrived on scene.”

Jan. 31 (Grant Avenue) – “Officers responded on report of a burglary and the theft of two motorcycles. The victim stated two unknown male parties forced entry into their garage and took two motorcycles that were inside. The victim advised that both key fobs were in the ignition of the motorcycles prior to them being taken. The surrounding area was canvassed for further information and the detective bureau was advised.”
