2024 High School Scholarships In Bloomfield, Belleville, Glen Ridge

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — High school seniors in Bloomfield, Belleville and Glen Ridge are eligible for a scholarship from the Suburban Essex Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The group recently announced that it will be offering three scholarship awards in 2024. The recipients must be a graduating senior and must reside in the towns that the chamber supports: Bloomfield, Belleville and Glen Ridge.

Here’s what to know if you plan to apply, the foundation says:

“The criteria for the scholarships are based on 500-word typed essay, financial need, fall attendance at a college, university, or vocational school with the intention to pursue a career that is business oriented and extra-curricular/community activities. The scholarships will be awarded to one recipient from each town to be selected by our scholarship committee. Applications are available at each high school guidance counselor office, online (www.suburbanessexchamber.com) or by contacting Cecelia Polizzi or Donna Pietroiacovo at 973-748-2000.”

Applications must be received by Friday, March 29.
