3 Family Friendly Halloween Activities In Nutley: 2024 Events

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley will be holding three holiday events open to local residents for the 2024 Halloween season.

SPOOKTACULAR CELEBRATION

A “Spooktacular Celebration” featuring a variety of activities will take place on Friday, Oct. 25. According to a municipal advisory:

“Little ghosts and goblins are invited to enjoy a Halloween extravaganza including a hayride, Halloween music, snacks, drinks and much more. The celebration will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Recreation Department located at 44 Park Avenue. Be sure to wear your costume! The festivities will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the party will be cancelled. Nutley residents must pre-register on their community pass account https://register.communitypass.net/nutley.”

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event. Valid proof of residency will be required upon entry. For more information, contact the Recreation Department at (973) 284-4966 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

SPOOKY SPRINT

A Spooky Sprint Fun Run will return to Nutley on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2:30 p.m. Learn more here.

According to an event post, the sprint will begin at the Vincent Place park entrance next to Vincent Methodist Church (100 Vincent Place). Costumes are encouraged.

TRUNK OR TREAT

An annual “trunk or treat” Halloween event is returning to Nutley for 2024.

The town’s 14th annual Trunk or Treat will take place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the public safety building at 228 Chestnut Street. It is open to Nutley residents only.
