The Nutley Hall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations for a special induction ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Nutley Hall of Fame. This year’s ceremony will be held on November 4, 2026, at Nanina’s in the Park.
The Hall of Fame Committee was established in 2001 by then-Commissioner Carmen Orechio with the goal of recognizing individuals who, through significant personal achievement, have distinguished themselves on a statewide, national, or international level, and whose association with Nutley has been a source of pride for the community.
To be eligible, a nominee must have been born in Nutley, graduated from Nutley High School, or been a resident of the town for at least 10 years.
The Administrative Committee will review all applications to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and will then forward qualified nominations to a panel of judges.
Nomination forms are attached and are also available at Town Hall, the Nutley Public Library, and the Parks and Recreation Building. Forms can also be accessed online here.
Alternatively, nominations accompanied by a one-page summary may be submitted by mail to: Director’s Office Nutley Public Library 93 Booth Drive Nutley, NJ 07110 Attn: Hall of Fame Committee
The deadline for nominations is May 30, 2026. For more details, contact 973-284-4929.
