NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley will hold an Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4. The event will include a fireworks show.
According to a municipal advisory, the event will start at 6 p.m. at the Nutley Park Oval. Attractions will include food vendors, music, games and performers. The fireworks show will begin at dusk.
Franklin Avenue will be closed from Chestnut to Church streets from 3:30 p.m. until cleanup is finished. For more information, contact 973-284-4976.
“As in previous years, Nutley will be the destination to celebrate our nation's historic 250th birthday,” Mayor John Kelly III said.
“We are looking forward to continuing our time-honored tradition of celebrating our nation's birth with family friendly entertainment, food, and of course, fireworks,” the mayor added.
