NUTLEY, NJ — A podcast series that spotlights accomplished Nutley residents recently got the chance to pick the brains of a champion horse breeder, a television comedy writer, and two locals who gained national attention by walking 3,000 miles across the United States.
"Inside Nutley" debuted in July 2022. Hosted by lifelong resident Thomas Greco, the monthly podcast provides a look at current town issues, explores how the town is moving forward, spotlights residents and businesses, and answers questions from Nutley residents.

Vito Cucci
Inside Nutley Podcast #47 welcomes Vito Cucci, a proud Nutley native whose remarkable life story is rooted in hard work, family, ambition, and hometown pride. A 1975 graduate of Nutley High School, Vito transformed his family's culinary legacy into a celebrated career in hospitality, helping build some of New Jersey's premier destinations. His success has also extended to championship horse breeding and racing: in 2024, Vito's horse Dornoch captured the Belmont Stakes.

Rob Bonora and Anthony Greco
Inside Nutley Podcast #46 welcomes guests Rob Bonora and Anthony Greco, two Nutley natives who gained national attention in 2010 by walking 3,000 miles across the United States on their "Coast to Coast for a Cure" journey. Their effort raised more than $65,000 to support breast cancer research and Ataxia‑Telangiectasia (A‑T).
In this episode, Rob and Anthony join host Tom Greco to reflect on the highs and lows of their remarkable trek and to reminisce about their Nutley roots. They share stories about how growing up in the Township shaped their lives and why Nutley continues to hold such a special place in their hearts.
Gerry Mulligan

A Nutley resident since 1984, Gerry was a cornerstone writer and frequent on-camera performer throughout David Letterman's late-night career, becoming one of the longest-serving members of his creative team. Over more than two decades, he worked as a writer, head writer, and segment producer on Late Night with David Letterman and Late Show with David Letterman.
