Vehicle Strike Leaves 9 Geese Dead, 4 Hurt In Nutley: Police
A veterinarian took the animals to her facility for treatment and proper disposal, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — An apparent vehicle strike left nine geese dead and four injured in Nutley last week, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to Kingsland Avenue on Thursday, June 6 after receiving a report about multiple deceased geese in the roadway.
On arrival, police found nine dead and four injured geese along the roadside. It appears they were struck by a passing motorist, authorities said.
