In Belleville: 316 Students Opt Out of PARCC Standardized Test
Second phase of exams will continue in May.

The testing is over for now and the numbers are in: 316 students in the Belleville School District have refused to take the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) exam so far, school administrators reported.
A second round of testing is scheduled for May.
Belleville joins several other school districts in the region which have reported PARCC refusals that number in the hundreds. [See related Patch article here]
