Belleville Armed Robbery: 2 Men Accost Victim On Heckel Street, Police Say
Belleville police say the suspects stole the victim's jacket, phone, wallet and $25 worth of groceries.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — An armed robbery in Belleville involving two men – one allegedly armed with a gun - took place on Heckel Street last week, authorities say.
According to the Belleville Police Department, the male victim told police that two men – one armed with a silver revolver – approached him while he walked down Heckel Street around 7:29 p.m. on Feb. 16.
The victim told officers that the men told him to get on the ground and give them his belongings. They then took his black North Face jacket, Samsung cell phone, and a wallet containing $50 in cash and identification, police said.

The men also stole $25 worth of groceries, the victim told officers.
Police said the suspects were described as “skinny males wearing ski masks.” Belleville authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
