Belleville BOE Candidates Night Scheduled

The public will have the chance to hear the candidates in this year’s Belleville Board of Education race speak during a candidates’ night. The candidates’ night is being held Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 pm at the Connie Francis Thetater at Belleville High School, 100 Passaic Ave. The event is being sponsored by the Consolidated Association of Belleville Public Schools.

Two seats are up for election April 27. The candidates are incumbents William Freda and Joseph Longo, who face challengers Eric Schwartz and Ralph Vellon.

The event is open to the public.
