Belleville Cops Find Man Unconscious In Car With Gun, Mace, Binoculars
Officers found a can of mace, a bulletproof vest, a loaded handgun, handcuffs and binoculars in the back seat, Belleville police say.
Belleville, NJ – Belleville police arrested a Jersey City man earlier this month after finding him unconscious in his car with a cache of weapons and a pair of binoculars, authorities said.
According to the Belleville Police Department, officers responded to Academy Street around 1:21 a.m. on May 9 on a report of a man slumped over the steering wheel of his black Audi.
When officers arrived on the scene, they reportedly found Michael Seijas, 24, of Jersey City, unresponsive in the vehicle.

The officers found a can of mace, a bulletproof vest, a gun case with a loaded handgun, a pair of handcuffs, ammunition and a pair of binoculars in the back seat of the vehicle, authorities stated.
Emergency responders transported Seijas to Clara Maass Medical Center where he received treatment, authorities said.

Police took Seijas into custody upon his release and charged him with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of prohibited devices (handcuffs).
