Belleville Cops Find Man With Gunshot Wound To Knee

Belleville police found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound on Magnolia Street, authorities say.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville police found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound on Magnolia Street on Wednesday, but according to authorities, that’s not where the shooting took place.

According to the Belleville Police Department, officers were called to the scene of shooting in the area of Magnolia Street. On arrival, officers found the male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his knee.

“The incident did not occur on Magnolia Street and detectives are attempting to determine the location of the incident,” Belleville police stated Wednesday.

There is no threat to the public at this time, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
