Belleville Cops: Man In Nirvana Shirt Burglarized Local Business

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville police are asking for the public’s help locating a man who allegedly burglarized a store at Mill Street and Union Avenue on Independence Day. The man was dressed in a t-shirt with a Nirvana logo and shorts, police said.

According to the Belleville Police Department, the commercial burglary took place around 11 p.m. on July 4. The man allegedly kicked in a glass door in the front of the building, authorities said.

The BPD released surveillance photos from the incident which can be seen below. Anyone with information can call Belleville Detective Michael Agosta at 973-450-3359.
