Belleville Cops Recover Stolen Cadillac On Route 21

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville police recovered a Cadillac reportedly stolen out of Newark last month after finding it crashed on Route 21, authorities say.

According to the Belleville Police Department, officers arrived on the scene of a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 21 North around 12:54 a.m. on Oct. 25 to find a tan, 2005 Cadillac CTS straddling the left and middle lanes.

Police said that the car apparently collided with the center divider.

After conducting a license plate check, officers found that the car was reported stolen out of Newark, authorities said.

Belleville police are conducting an investigation.
