BELLEVILLE, NJ — There are 100 cases of the new coronavirus in Belleville as of Monday morning. There are also two deaths linked to the illness, Essex County officials say.
Authorities released an updated COVID-19 patient count for the entire county as of 9 a.m. In Belleville, there were 100 cases, including two deaths linked to the disease. (See the county-wide chart below)
As of Monday afternoon, New Jersey had a total of 16,636 cases and 198 deaths linked to COVID-19, according to the state health department.
