Belleville Council Moves Towards Belmont Avenue Redevelopment
Belleville's Town Council took a big step towards designating a stretch of Belmont Avenue as an "area in need of redevelopment."

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville’s Town Council has taken a big step towards designating a stretch of Belmont Avenue as an “area in need of redevelopment.”

A payment in lieu of taxes agreement (PILOT) for the developer is under consideration, Township Manager Mauro Tucci told NorthJersey.com. The council must still hold a public hearing and final vote, which is expected in January. (Read the full report here)
