Belleville Deli Sells $1M Lottery Ticket: Mega Millions

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A deli in Belleville sold a winning lottery ticket worth a cool million bucks for the Friday, Sept. 17 Mega Millions drawing, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
There was one, second-tier prizewinning ticket sold for the drawing. It matched five of the five white balls drawn, winning a $1,000,000 prize.
The ticket was purchased at Pat’s Deli on Newark Avenue in Belleville.

The winning numbers for the drawing were: 17, 32, 40, 59, and 61. The Gold Mega Ball was 18, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 11 p.m.
