Belleville Flushing May Cause Discolored Water, Low Pressure
Some neighborhoods in Belleville may see discolored water or low pressure between May 21 and May 31. Here's why.
BELLEVILLE, NJ — Some neighborhoods in Belleville may see discolored water or low pressure over the rest of the month as the town continues routine fire hydrant flushing, town officials announced Monday.
According to a municipal advisory, Belleville will be flushing fire hydrants between May 21 and May 31 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Residents in the following areas may experience discolored water and/or low water pressure:
- Union Avenue to Franklin Avenue
- Joralemon Street to Belleville Avenue
