Belleville To Hold Free Community Shred Day: April 9

Belleville, NJ – The township of Belleville will hold a community shred day on Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Belleville Town Hall parking lot, 152 Washington Avenue.

According to a municipal flyer, the free, public event will provide residents with the chance to have sensitive and confidential documents safely shredded and recycled.

Residents can bring documents in paper bags or cardboard boxes that weigh no more than 10 pounds. Shredding is limited to confidential and sensitive materials only; all other paper should be recycled. No binders or magazines will be allowed.

There is a limit of five banker’s boxes per resident, and participants must show proof of residency.

Organizers advise participants to show up early, as the event will end prior to 1 p.m. if the truck reaches its capacity.
