Belleville To Hold Qing Dynasty Chinese Flag Raising Event

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville will hold a Qing Dynasty Chinese flag raising event on Friday, Jan. 30. The event will take place at noon at Town Hall, 152 Washington Avenue.
According to a municipal advisory: “The three-sided Emperor's Dragon banner flew in Belleville from 1870 to 1887, representing strength, unity and cultural heritage. We honor this moment in history and recognize the diverse roots that helped shape our township. All are welcome to join us as we raise the flag and celebrate the legacy it represents.”
