Belleville Man Kicks Cop In Groin, Another In Arm: Police
When Belleville officers entered the home they saw blood smeared on the walls and two men engaged in a fight, authorities said.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A Belleville man allegedly assaulted two police officers who responded to a local home on a disturbance call last week, kicking one cop in the groin and another in the arm, authorities said.
The incident took place around 1 a.m. on Sept. 17 when officers responded to a report of a “disturbance” at a home on Jannarone Street. When the officers arrived on the scene, they were flagged down by a group of “hysterical” people outside the home. The officers heard screaming and yelling from inside the house, police said.
When they entered the home, the officers saw blood smeared on the walls and two men engaged in a fight. One of the men was attempting to “protect his family” from the other man, also a relative, police said.
